Truckers

Trucker jobs are Project Carga jobs completed in Euro Truck Simulator 2 with the desktop companion app running alongside the game.

Job Flow

  1. Accept a trucker job in Project Carga.
  2. Open the desktop companion app.
  3. Start Euro Truck Simulator 2.
  4. Take the matching in-game freight job from the correct origin city to the correct destination city.
  5. Make sure the trailer is attached.
  6. Click Start Job on the Active Job page.
  7. Drive the route in ETS2.
  8. Deliver the cargo in ETS2.
  9. Mark the Project Carga job complete.

Keep the companion app running while you drive. It connects the ETS2 session to Project Carga so the job can be followed and completed correctly.

Starting the Job

For trucker jobs, make sure the in-game freight job matches the Project Carga route.

The Start Job button becomes available once the companion app can see ETS2 and your current delivery is ready to be tracked.

Completing the Job

After you deliver the cargo in ETS2, return to the Active Job page.

Once Project Carga has followed the delivery through, you can mark the job complete and receive the payout.

If completion fails, check that:

  • the companion app was running
  • ETS2 was connected
  • the in-game job matched the Project Carga route
  • the trailer was attached before departure
  • the cargo was delivered while the companion app was still open

Plugin Install

The companion app installs the ETS2 telemetry plugin used for trucker job tracking.

When ETS2 starts with the plugin in place, the game shows a warning message about the telemetry plugin. This confirms the plugin has loaded.

If ETS2 was already running when you installed or updated the companion app, restart ETS2 before starting a tracked job.

Page Reloads and Navigation

You can move around Project Carga during a trucker job.

As long as the companion app is running and the job has been started, normal page reloads or navigation should not lose the journey progress.
