Pilots

Pilot jobs are Project Carga jobs flown in Microsoft Flight Simulator with the desktop companion app running alongside your simulator.

Job Flow

1. Accept a pilot job in Project Carga.
2. Open the desktop companion app.
3. Load into Microsoft Flight Simulator at or near the job origin.
4. Click Start Job once you are loaded at the origin.
5. Fly the route.
6. Land at the destination.
7. Taxi in, park safely, and shut the aircraft down.
8. Mark Complete once the flight is finished.

Keep the companion app running during the flight. It connects your simulator session to Project Carga so your journey can be followed and completed correctly.

Start Job

Start Job is the point where Project Carga begins tracking the journey for the cargo network.

The companion app may show local simulator information before you start, but the Project Carga journey begins after you click Start Job.

Finishing the Job

When the flight is finished, bring the aircraft to a proper stop at the destination and complete the job from the Active Job page.

Think of it like handing the cargo over after arrival: land at the destination, taxi clear, come to a complete stop, and shut the aircraft down before marking the job complete.

If completion fails, check that:

• the companion app stayed open during the flight
• the job was started once you loaded in at the origin
• you finished at the correct destination
• the aircraft is stopped on the ground with engines shut down

If Project Carga cannot confirm the journey, the job may not complete straight away. Keep the companion app open and check the Active Job page for guidance.

Page Reloads and Navigation

You can move around Project Carga during a flight.

As long as the companion app is running and the job has been started, normal page reloads or navigation should not lose the journey progress.

If the companion app or page closes after you have departed, reopen the companion app and return to the Active Job page. Project Carga can usually reconnect to the active job once it has recorded that the flight was under way.

If you accepted the job but had not departed yet, return to the origin and start the job again from the Active Job page.
